It was a pretty fun day, despite the fact that we nearly died at the end. I think that I could actually feel myself growing a six pack as we walked and I now feel fitter.

We should definitely do it again!

Great work, girls. I know I am excited too - and working hard on getting fitter! It will be so worth it for the whole Tanzanian experience!

Man, wow, what a hike! It was awesome!!! And that bridge, the first time was absolutely freaky but the second time was hilariously fun! (I'm a strange girl) But I think we were all challenged in different ways and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I personally enjoyed getting to know everyone that make up the most excellently awesome group that is going to Tanzania; everyone is great and there was a lot of support!

That last stage, up the mountain, challenged me personally, as I being the most intelligent person of the day managed to roll both, yes, both ankles, prior to the trek up the mountainside. But the teacher's were awesome and everyone stuck it out through the rain.

congrats to everyone who went on the hike, we all made it out alive and many, leech infested...lol...leech....it's a strange word

Anyway, to conclude, an amazing day, I agree with katie, we should do another one! And again, thanks to the teachers who came and organized the day, it ruled! I am very excited about Tanzania and am pumped to conquer Mt. Meru!

Peace out!
